I have terrible news about Jocelyne: as you may have noticed here non existent activity since a week, she got struck by a severe aneurysm rupture in the brain. For those who don't know yet, I, Philippe, a.k.a. philippeL (https://www.deviantart.com/philippel) is her son. Her secondary account is also surrealistic-gloom (https://www.deviantart.com/surrealistic-gloom), where she allowed to express deep emotions through surrealistic and strongly edited photos. (Please view maximized for better presentation) Dear Members and Watchers This feature is one of black and white photography. Not just black and white, but of the human experience up close. Here we will be seeing parts of people, as in hands and arms and legs. Also, close ups:  portraits that remain highlighted and shadowed in a way not showing the whole, body shots that use shadows and light, hiding everything but what the photographer wanted you to see. But our minds will see beyond, though light and shadow is used to emphasize, to minimize, to glamorize, to hide, to tell a story.
